Brevhuset 2562 GJELTEN ble lagt ned fra 1.2.1975. Ny postadresse. 2560 ALVDAL. Kilde: Nedlagte poststeder og poststeder som har endret navn i tiden 1900--1981.

"Kronet posthorn"-stempel ble tilsendt i okt. 1940.
