KVALØEN brevhus, på dampskipsanløpsstedet, i Vikten herred, Nordre Trondhjem amt, under Namsos postkontor, ble opprettet den 1.3.1906.
Brevhguset KVALØEN ble lagt ned fra 1.4.1909 og samtidig omgjort til poståpneri under navnet Kvaløy i Namdalen.
Brevhuset nyttet 4-rings kassasjonsstempel nr 307.
Brevhusstyrer:
Ds.eksp. Johan J. Sønderland 1.3.1906 (f. 1881).
